It’s first Friday in the valley, and that means lots of art to be seen. Tonight is the opening of the March show of Walter Graham Originals at Two Rivers Gallery. And, Two Rivers Gallery member Ken Duffin is exhibiting at Gallery 4 South where he is the featured artist there. I know they can’t wait to have Ken exhibiting again at Two Rivers Gallery. Both Galleries are having their First Friday events with Wine and hors d’oevres from 5-8pm tonight. So, a great evening will be had by those who stop by both galleries and take in all the fine art to be enjoyed in our little valley tonight. At Gallery 4 South Ken will be there to meet and greet the public. Denise Marker, the niece of the late Mr. Graham, will be at Two Rivers to show his work and share anecdotes of the great artist that her uncle was. I for one have really enjoyed hearing about him from her and wish I had had the opportunity to meet him while he was alive. One special treat for this show is the original oil on canvas painting that served as the blueprint for the monumental mural of the waterfall horses at the Rocky Reach Damn. This and other never before seen by the public Original oils and watercolors by Mr. Graham will be on display. It should be noted that Walter Graham was not a believer in making prints of his work, so; all work displayed of Mr.Grahams are originals.
