This just in…photos from the judging of the Regional High School Art Show at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural Center. The judging was done by local artist Martha Flores and Leavenworth photographer Reed Carlson.The art was from Wenatchee, Eastmont, Cashmere, and Entiate High School student artists. The categories included water color and oil paintings, pastel drawings, printmaking, photography, mixed media and sculpture. There are prizes for first, second and third place in each category. Each category will also have a Best of Show choice that will be submitted to Olympia for a statewide art competition. This coming Saturday March 12, 2011 will be the Opening reception at the Wenatchee Valley Museum and Cultural center from 1-3p.m.
