And, here in town, I got word from Zeb the owner of Lemolo’s Café, that he would like to have my art there for another month as Featured Artist at Lemolos. So; of course I said yes. I Hope everyone gets a chance to get over to Lemolo’s to enjoy the food and drink while taking in the art on the walls. And Karen Dawn Dean (the one who is to blame, by the way, for teaching Terry Johnson how to throw and glaze a pot), is going to be the featured artist for November at Gallery 4South. Good luck Karen, and thanks for mentoring Terry, the Mad Potter, Johnson in the art of making pottery.
And speaking of Terry Johnson, I stopped in at Terry Signs on my way back from docenting at Two Rivers Gallery this morning, to check out the latest activity over Terry Signs and saw not only his latest art work but, got a chance to see the 38th Anniversary Art Sale sign he is working on for his Big Blow Out Art Sale coming this weekend. Good luck Terry and, Yes I’ll bring over some of my art and Martha’s art too for the sale. I think I might even bring over the bowl I finished the other day. Though, I must say it looks pretty good right here at our home.
