Fire, Smoke, and Water and the Spirit of the Stream

While doing a photo and video project documenting the preperation for the oncoming fire up in Liberty yesterday, I was able to get some good shots of the oncoming fire as it crested the top of the mountain just a few miles to the east.

I was a pretty amazing watching this huge cloud of smoke as it billowed up above the mountain.

In close-up I was able to catch glimps of a tanker plane as it and it's crew curageously appraoched the blaze.

One of the important measures this home owner wanted me to get photos and video of was the tall sprinkler system like seen in many orchards, that will come on in the face of an oncoming fire.

During the photo/ video shoot about one home owners preperation for the fire, the brave hardworking firefighters stopped by to prepare to set up an above ground wagter supply system for the work to come for them.

While there, I did have a moment to get a photo of a very different nature which I am calling "Sprit of the Stream".
