Wenatchee 3,  Victoria 2 last night.

Wenatchee at Kitsap 7:35 tonight.

Look who is in first...well they share it with Walla Walla, but the AppleSox have gone from fourth to first in three days in the super tight North Division...only 1.5 games separating the top four teams.

Wenatchee vs. Kitsap

Started in 2005

Kitsap started the season with but four wins in their first 19 games, but the BlueJackets have really turned things around and have won six of the last eight.

And the local nine has also flipped their season over.  After starting 5-7 in their first dozen games, Wenatchee has found the next dozen more to their liking, winning three in a row, six of seven and nine of 12.       J

July 5 Games...Fizzle after the 4th

What is there about games on the 5th of July?   The AppleSox turn sour.   It is their worst games, one victory.  At least they got that one in convincing fashion two years ago when they bombed Cowlitz 11-1 to break a 6-game skid.  They are 1-6 overall, 1-5 in league games, 0-2 on the road and have that 1-game win streak.

North: WENATCHEE 14-10, Walla Walla 14-10, Victoria 11-9, Bellingham 12-11, Kelowna 6-18

South:  Bend 18-9, Cowlitz 12-9, Corvallis 14-13, Klamath Falls 12-13, Medford 9-13, Kitsap 10-17

Who’s Hot:  Wenatchee has won 6 of 7.  Bend has won 5 of 6.  Cowlitz has won 5 of 6.  Medford has won 4 of 5.  Kitsap has won 6 of 8.
