...HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ALONG THE EAST SLOPES OF THE NORTHERN CASCADES... .A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE CASCADES FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING INTO THE AFTERNOON. THIS BAND WILL ALSO CONTAIN SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL RATES THAT COULD LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.

Wenatchee 11,  Kitsap 1 last night.      

 

Wenatchee at Kitsap 1:35 today.      

 

Both Wenatchee and Walla Walla won again last night and remain tied atop the North Division with 16-10 records.      

 

The Sox have a 5-game win streak, their longest of the season.      

 

The AppleSox have now defeated Kitsap 16 consecutive times.      

 

Runs are a Good Thing  

Average number of AppleSox runs the first 12 games 3.75.  Record 5-7.   Average number of AppleSox runs the last 14 games 6.50.  Record 11-3.    

 

Jubilant July  

Wenatchee is 5-0 for July.  Best seventh-month start ever.  Previous best 3-0 in 2007 and 2008.      

 

July 7 Games  

Not the best day in Wenatchee history.  They are 6-5 overall, 5-5 in league games, 3-4 on the road and have a 2-game losing streak (a doubleheader in Bend a year ago).
