Victoria 3, Wenatchee 2   last night.

Wenatchee at Victoria 1:05 this afternoon.

Grant Palmer led off the 5th inning last night with a single.  Not just any old one-bagger.  It was the 4,000th single in AppleSox history.  How about that!

Yesterday’s game was the 13th 1-run game of the season.  Counting all 40 games that is 32.5 percent, not far off the 14-year average of 30.1 percent.  Wenatchee is 8-5 or 61.5 percent, again close to the all-time average of 59.1.

Beginning June 26 the AppleSox won nine of their next 10 games.  In the 11 games since they are 5-6.

July 21 Games

The AppleSox are 6-3 overall, 6-2 in league contests, 4-2 on the road and have a 1-game losing streak and have dropped two of the last three.
