Wenatchee 9, Everett Merchants 3 last night.

Everett Merchants at Wenatchee this afternoon 1:05.

A Rare Afternoon Affair
It has been a long time since local fans experienced an afternoon game on the home diamond...in fact five years and one day. June 8, 2008 was a Sunday, just like today, and the Okanogan All-Stars were here for the final game of a 3-game series. The Kelowna team fell to Wenatchee 13-1. Between that matinee and today have been 169 home games.

Seeking 100
A win today and the AppleSox will have their 100th nonleague victory. With last evening’s triumph they now stand at 99-38.

The win over Everett extended the Sox nonleague team record win streak to 12. They have won 19 of the last 20.

In nonleague games at Paul Thomas Sr. Baseball Stadium Wenatchee is 85-30.

June 9 games
Wenatchee is 8-3 overall, 2-0 in nonleague games and 5-2 at home. They have a 3-game win streak. Four times they have played Everett. The Snohomish County outfit won the first two, the local nine the next two.

Standings
North: Victoria 3-0, Bellingham 3-1, Wenatchee 2-1, Walla Walla 2-1, Kelowna 0-4
South: Cowlitz 3-1, Bend 2-2, Kitsap 2-2, Corvallis 1-3, Medford 1-3, Klamath Falls 0-1
