Wenatchee 12, Klamath Falls 2 last night

Klamath Falls at Wenatchee at 7:05 tonight.

500
Tonight is Ed Knaggs’ 500th league game as coach of the AppleSox. He started his career June 1, 2001 with a 6-3 win over the Coquitlam Athletics at Paul Thomas. In fact the Sox won their first five games under the new head coach (all league contests). In Pacific International League and West Coast League play Knaggs has won 321 and lost 178. In addition he has 35 playoff and 128 nonleague games.

After runs had been hard to come by for their first seven WCL contests (six was tops), the AppleSox busted loose for 12 of them and had 16 hits in the win over Klamath Falls last evening.

June 17 games
On this date Wenatchee is 7-5 overall, 7-4 league, 4-5 at home and has a 1-game losing streak.
