Wenatchee 4, Kitsap 3 in 10 innings last night

Kitsap at Wenatchee 6:05 tonight.

The AppleSox have now won 13 straight over the BlueJackets.

The 4-3 win last evening was the sixth game decided by one run in the AppleSox 14 league contests...4 wins, 2 losses.

Extended Games Stuff
One quarter of the Sox games this young season have gone into extra innings. Last night was the fourth of 16...and all AppleSox victories.
Through 13-plus seasons Wenatchee is averaging 3.43 extra inning games a year.
There is a dramatic difference in the number the first eight years...2.25 per season, compared to the last six (counting 2013)...5.00.
The most in one season is six – 2008, 2009 and 2011.
The fewest in one season is zero – 2003 (56 games). In fact they went 51 games into the ‘04 season with none, and then lost a 10-inning playoff affair to Kelowna to end the season.

Who’s Hot: Bend has won 4 of 5 and 9 of 11. Walla Walla has won 7 of 8.
Who’s Not: Kitsap and Medford have each lost 9 of 10. Cowlitz has lost 4 of 5.
