The week begins with four of the six teams within one game of each other…Eisenhower 3-0 and Wenatchee, Davis and Moses Lake all 2-1.  The Panthers have pounded the Pirates in this series over the past 14 seasons, winning nine straight, 16 of 17 and 23 of 25.  Since 1980 WHS won 45 of 58 matches.  At home they are 21-4 and have and have won 12 in a row…they have not lost since the turn of the century (last loss was 1999).

Three of the teams Wenatchee has faced this season are ranked in the Washington State Volleyball Coaches Association poll.  Central Valley is third in 4A and Ellensburg eighth and North Kitsap ninth in 2A.  WHS lost to the first two and tied NK.
