Sox May Be Up For Petty Thievery, But Not Grand Larceny
In stolen bases the local squad continues to be fairly law abiding.  Through 40 league games Wenatchee has 35 stolen bases or 0.88 per game.  That is the fewest swipes per game in their 10 seasons in the WCL and the third lowest ever.   The fewest were 0.83 in 2000 and 0.75 in ‘04

July 26 Games
What’s with  the 26th day of July?  Ugh!  This is the worst date on the calendar for Wenatchee, only 22.2 winning percentage.  The record: overall and league 2-7, home 1-2, away 1-5 and they’ve dropped three in a row.  They have faced Bend twice, winning 17-5 in 2007 and losing 9-4 last year.

Klamath Falls Runs Dry
The Gems are the first team to be eliminated from a divisional title.  If they won all their 14 remaining games they would have 25 wins.  Corvallis already has 26.
