Wenatchee 5, San Francisco Seals 0 last night.

San Francisco Seals at Wenatchee 7:05 tonight.

The AppleSox are now 8-0 vs. the Seals in games in 2000, ‘01, ‘13 and last night.

A shutout.  Last night was the 57th time the AppleSox have blanked a foe, the 37th time at home and the 17th in a nonleague game.

Fast game.  The opening night game was 2 hours and 18 minutes.

June 5 Games

How about this.  Wenatchee has never lost a game on the 5th of June.  They are 7-0 overall, 6-0 at home and 2-0 nonleague.  And two of these games have been against a team from the Bay Area, but not the Seals.  In 2004 the San Francisco Angels were in town for doubleheader and fell twice to the local nine.

S.F. teams bring heat.  Yesterday was the second hottest home opening day on record...the high at Pangborn was 87.  Tops is 89 when the Angels were in town in 2004.

The AppleSox are 15-3 against California teams – San Francisco Seals 8-0, Bay Area Rams 1-0, Oxnard Dawgs 1-0, Sacramento 1-0, San Francisco Angels 4-2 and Santa Barbara Foresters 0-1.
