Kitsap 14, Wenatchee 4 last night

Kitsap (4-0) at Wenatchee (2-2) 11:05 this morning...earliest home game in AppleSox history.

Offensive Opposition
Last night drubbing triggered conversation about most runs given up and losing margins.  The 14 by Kitsap is the 11th time a foe has tallied that many or more against the local nine.  The record was a 19-4 loss to the Everett Merchants in 2003.  The 10-run losing margin wasn’t close to the record.  In 2009 the Spokane RiverHawks pounded the AppleSox by 17 here on the WVC campus, 18-1.

June 10 Games
This has been a good day for Wenatchee the past eight years.   They’ve played six games on the 10th of June and won them all.  They are 7-3 overall, 6-2 in league games and 3-2 at home.

Standings
East: Kelowna 2-1, Wenatchee 2-2, Yakima Valley 1-2, Walla Walla 1-2
West: Kitsap 4-0, Cowlitz 2-1, Bellingham 2-2, Victoria 1-2
South: Bend 2-2,  Medford 2-2, Corvallis 1-2, Klamath Falls 1-3
