From East Wenatchee to Cashmere and Leavenworth Grand Art and Great Art Events

Well, it’s been quite a week for art in the valley and beyond. Here in town on Dec.4th Martha Flores finally caught up with the winner of the 12x18 print of her signature piece “Flowering Conscious” at the NuArt Gallery in East Wenatchee. The winner lives in Puyallip; so a friend that lives nearby picked it up for her.

In reading the invitation I was struck not only by the title of the show (more on that in a bit) but by Jim’s thoughts on his ...

Pybus Demo, Bike Surfing the Columbia Swamp Trail and More

Well, it’s been a full week for art in the Valley. Friday last was of course was First Friday and having only time to get to one venue due to other commitments, I stopped in at Two Rivers Gallery where I had the pleasure of meeting friends and enjoying the art of Dean Rainey and the other artist showing there this month. It was well attended and our out of town guest a artist from Yakima loved the venue and art therein.
