FOOTBALL (0-2)Saturday, Mount Boucherie Secondary School (2-0) home.* For the fourth time in history Wenatchee is playing a team from British Columbia.  In 1967 and ’68 Vancouver College came to town and WHS won both games, 40-0 and 31-0.  In 2003 North Surrey was here and the Panthers ran away 70-6.* MBSS is a public school in West Kelowna with an enrollment of about 1,300 in grades 10 to 12. VOLLEYBALL (0-0-, 5-3)Wednesday, Big Bend (0-6) away.* Wenatchee Valley heads to Moses Lake today to open East Region play against Big Bend.* Against the Vikings the Knights have done quite well, going 19-4 since first playing in 2007.  WVC leads 8-1 at BB.* A year ago these two clashed five times with the Apple Capital bunch taking the final four.

Season underway, all Panther teams in action this week

Knight teams start new sports year 7-3-1

The 71st season of intercollegiate sports for Wenatchee Valley College is under way.  Both soccer teams and volleyball kicked off the year last weekend.  And a pretty decent start it was with the three combining for a 7-3-1 record.
