Next week, the Cashmere Chamber of Commerce will hold its Business After Hours (the first of the year) at Mission Square, the block-long pear-packing shed that’s now a slick retail-and-office development.

Chamber members are invited, of course, but the general public can also attend. The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. April 25 in Mission Square’s entry lobby at 207 Mission Ave.

The building’s tasting rooms — Crayelle Cellars, Horan Estates Winery, Dutch John’s Wines, It’s 5 Distillery and Cashmere Cellars — will be serving wines and spirits, along with all kinds of treats (truffles to gourmet cheeses). The espresso stand Snapdragon Coffee will offer tastes of Italian gelato, and J5 Coffee, a farm-to-market roaster, will provide coffee samples.

And, oh yeah, try to get there early. Wine Design will be giving away wine and cheese platters to the first 20 people who walk in the door.

The 106,000-square-foot, three-level development contains about 35 businesses. In addition to tasting rooms and coffee retailers, tenants also include a fitness center, physical therapist, furniture maker, photographer, recording studio, hair salon, contractors, consultants and mini-storage units.

For more info, call the Chamber at 782-7404.
