You’re wondering how to show your unbridled support (GET COFFEE!!) for the Seahawks in their NFC championship game Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, right? (LOVE COFFEE!!)

Well, tomorrow — yes, that’s Friday, Jan. 17 — Starbucks will offer 12-ounce cups of brewed coffee (GIMME COFFEE!!) for a mere 12 cents to anyone wearing Seahawk colors. All the Starbucks joints in the Wenatchee Valley are participating (MORE COFFEE!!). In fact, more than 400 Starbucks locations across the state will do their part to get us energized (COFFEE! COFFEE!) for the big game.

Remember, though, you have to have on a Seahawk jersey (YOW! GOOD COFFEE!) or hat or pair of official ’Hawk underwear — anything has the team’s colors of blue and green. Bruises don’t count.

(By the way ... for you non-football fans, the 12th Man refers to the Seahawks collective fan base, a boisterous group that some believe has influenced the outcome of games through vigorous cheering. Thus, 12-cent coffee.)
