A lot of salmon have been running through the dam so far this summer. Rocky Reach Dam has been standing for over 50 years now and continues to be a hot spot for fish viewing during this time of year.

50 years of power. The Wenatchee World writes a story on Chelan County PUD’s celebration of Rocky Reach Dam’s 50th anniversary.

1… 2… 3… The Chelan County PUD fish count of salmon swimming through the dams. The page includes the latest days' totals and the total for the fish-counting season so far.

Down and dirty. Mike Rowe explores the inner-workings of the dam on the TV show ‘Dirty Jobs’ with a couple of PUD employees.

Up, up, and away! Except these fish aren’t even getting close to getting ‘away.’ A video of the salmon attempting to jump up the spillway on the Wenatchee River in the Tumwater Canyon.

A different perspective. Hikers give us a look from above at the fish below as salmon spawn in the Wenatchee River.
