A couple years ago I looked back into our archives and pulled out and scanned some black and white negatives from The Wenatchee World's first attempt to document a typical day in the life of our Apple Blossom Queen. That first year, in 1985, our focus was Queen Darci Henke who is now the festival administrator. This year, I've compiled some photographs from 1987 when the queen was Candy Cline. Also, at the end, are some photographs of our current queen at events and at school.
