Unless it is a photo illustration or mug shot, I avoid making pictures at times when any of the subjects in the photograph are looking at me or my camera. I work for those times where I become invisible and the subjects are doing, reacting, as if I wasn't there. Last week though, while Alexa Glomb was painting a friends car windows before a soccer game, she gave me a look that said "I've been caught but I don't care." I think her direct eye contact with me helped make the photograph interesting and told the story of her doing this act in the middle of a parking lot with people watching and passing by.
