With reports of 100% chance of rain and outdoor assignments, I prepared myself to get very wet over the weekend. Because I live in dry Wenatchee, I don't really have great rain gear so I just know I'll be wet and live with it. My gear, however, needs to stay fairly dry. I generally just use towels to keep my stuff safe. One towel goes over a camera and wide angle lens I keep over my neck and one goes over my shoulders and drapes down to cover a camera slung over one shoulder (the camera with the telephoto lens). This has always seemed to work out pretty well at giving me quick access. As far as subject matter goes, a hard rain storm is so odd here that it becomes part of the story as witnessed in what I shot. A nature walk...

Farmers Market opening...

And resulting flooding on Sunday...

Rain is interesting to shoot once in a while but I don't know if I would like to be around it too much.
