I came upon a kindergarten class playing with a colorful parachute as part of their physical education and photographed the kids using it in some interesting games. This is the scene setting photograph of a child waiting to be included.

Here's a traditional way of photographing the situation. I've seen this done many times with the photographer inside the parachute.

Those are interesting and fun to look at but I noticed that just before the kids went under the parachute, they lifted up the edge and the resulting scene looked very graphic.

I liked this image with the hand sticking up on the left side but the car's reflection in the background was pretty distracting so I went with this picture for the paper after a quick discussion with fellow photographer Mike Bonnicksen.
