Here's a photo gallery of the images I made in 2013 that won in a regional National Photographer's Association monthly clip contest. How it works is that I enter up to nine photographs each month that are judged by other newspaper photographers. Depending if I win first, second, or third, I receive points for that month that are tallied into a yearly total.

I've only won that title once, in 2010. It's a great way to do a monthly review of my work but with any contest it is very subjective and I'm quite surprised by some of the photographs that win and some that don't.
