Our wines up here in NCW didn't fare so badly at the recent Riverside Wine Competition in Temecula, California. One, Lake Chelan Winery's 2008 River's Bend Estate Syrah, received the prestigious Chairman's Award Unanimous Gold.

Other local wines also received awards.
