Time Travel: Folk Rewind

KCTS Ch. 9 tonight: It will be over before anyone sees this. Called "Folk Rewind," it is featuring folk music from the 60's and 70's. If you're too young to have lived through that time, I am genuinely sorry. You missed some of the best musicians and most timely music ever. And have you ever heard that fashion repeats itself every so many years? So does the timeliness of this music. Just listen to the lyrics.

Some of the most important lyrics from those days, and from any time, are those by Chet Powers in "Let's Get Together." The Kingston Trio was one of the first to perform it, and we could all learn from it.

I didn't find KCTS in my search but did find this. How easy it is to go back all those years by listening to the music of the time. Forever young!

It would be a real bonus to hear from anyone for whom this music is especially significant.
