Happy New Year

So here we are. We've killed another year. There's a lot of stuff we could write about, artists we've lost in the past year, and there are a couple of new obits that have popped up over the past week or so that I should get to. But not tonight.

Tonight is a night for celebrating the fact that we've made it through one 366 day journey, and are getting ready to start a new 365 day trip. Now I don't know what your plans are for New Years Eve, but it's not like "the old days" when we'd all settle around the TV.....I was like 9 years old....and watch what's posted below.

Now this only runs about 9 minutes, and the Times Square ball drops at about the 6:00 mark, but it seems ashame if we let the new year in without Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians. So we'll be back in a few days with a recap of the year, but for this moment, may the New Year find you and your family in a good place as we welcome in the new year of 1958.
