Plan a May visit to Leavenworth Ski Hill to savor the scent of citrus that fills the air from the bright white flowers of the Mockorange (Philadelphus lewisii) shrub. CENTER: This early-spring wildflower on the artist-created tiles is one of 30 species featured on the 1-2 mile walking route at Leavenworth Ski Hill. RIGHT: The Empty Bowl Festival is a fundraiser for M.E.N.D. Project volunteers provided paints, glazing, and helped recruit volunteer artists to create interpretive tiles.
