Play for the Knights, see the Northwest

Both soccer teams close out the regular season by visiting the Evergreen State’s neighbors.  Today both squads will be in the Beaver State, but at different locations, and Saturday the two visit the Gem State.

65th Panther Homecoming game Thursday

WHS teams busy from Federal Way to Posts Falls

GIRLS SWIMMING (4-0)Tuesday, Eastmont (3-0) away.The two undefeated teams remaining in the CBBN will compete this afternoon when Wenatchee crosses the river to Eastmont.  The Panthers are 4-0 and the Wildcats 3-0.  Over the past four seasons WHS is 7-0 vs. EHS.

VOLLEYBALL (0-0-, 5-3)Wednesday, Big Bend (0-6) away.* Wenatchee Valley heads to Moses Lake today to open East Region play against Big Bend.* Against the Vikings the Knights have done quite well, going 19-4 since first playing in 2007.  WVC leads 8-1 at BB.* A year ago these two clashed five times with the Apple Capital bunch taking the final four.

Season underway, all Panther teams in action this week

Knight teams start new sports year 7-3-1

The 71st season of intercollegiate sports for Wenatchee Valley College is under way.  Both soccer teams and volleyball kicked off the year last weekend.  And a pretty decent start it was with the three combining for a 7-3-1 record.
