The 42nd annual North Central Washington Sports Awards were held on June 26 (story here), and unlike in previous years the Sports section did not to run the finalists in each category in the newspaper. We've received a bit of heat from the organizers of the event, so to give the local athletes and coaches their due we've decided to run them here on the blog.
