Folk punk is an odd genre that I've been coming across quite a bit lately, takes me to my Hungarian roots, including my latest find "Crash Nomada". Formed in 2003 under the then name "Dorlene Love", the name change to "Crash Nomada" happened in 2011. The six piece band, hailing from Stockholm Sweden, consists of Ragnar Bey vocals, rhythm guitar and Saz-Cümbüs, John Hagenby lead guitar, Tomo on bass, Anja soprano saxophone, Toro drums and Walter Salé on accordion.
With just one full length album to their credit "Atlas Pogo" released in March 2012, the band does tour quite extensively however so far just in Europe. Hopefully they'll come to the states and I think Wenatchee's own "Jip Sea Party" would be a good opener for "Crash Nomada" as I would put them in the same genre.
They may have only one album release but they do have a whole slew of "official" videos starting with a favorite, "From Town To Town".
Next is "Dustbin Of History".
And their latest "Leila"
