The east side got rocked Friday night when "Hard Money Saints" along with "Angie And The Car Wrecks" from Seattle stopped by The Clearwater to provide a couple of hours of rock and roll.

Headlining was "Hard Money Saints" established in 2002. The current line up consists of Jack Rainwater, guitar and vocals, Nick Scott on drums , and Jacob Hogg on standup bass. They played a 90 minute set covering a large volume of material, most of which I was unfamiliar with but if you like rockabilly you'd like what they produced.

The following video, though I don't know the name of song, was taken from the show.

Opening for the show was "Angie And The Car Wrecks", a band that is some what of a family affair. The band consists of Dale Ball on guitar, Dale's brother Shawn "Skwerll" Ball on upright bass, Dale's wife Angie on guitar and lead vocals and then friend Dustin Beck on drums. They played a 45 minutes set during which "Skwerll" found a unique place to play his bass for a tune (us bassists are a unique group).

The following video is also from the show and sorry but I don't know the name of it either.

Both bands do play rather extensively with "Angie And The Car Wrecks" scheduled to play Wally's House Of Booze on Saturday May 18th. Get your rockabilly on.
