Snowgrass Winery of Entiat will hold its fifth annual “Good Baaa to

Summer,” a wine and cheese tasting, from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at the winery.

The event celebrates the “ruminant renaissance'" in Washington food and

wine. Sheep are used by the winery to mow the Snowgras vineyard.

Snowgrass wines will be paired with both domestic and European artisan cheeses made with

sheep’s milk and selected by Fromaggio Artisan Creamery & Bistro of

Manson. The Artisan Bread Company of Wenatchee will provide bread

samples. Both cheese and bread will also be available for sale at the

event. A fee of $10, which includes a souvenir tasting glass, will be

charged.

The Woolly Bully Band will provide live acoustic music for the event.

Snowgrass Winery is located 5.5 miles west of Highway 97A on the Entiat

River Road, and is normally open by appointment only. For more

information, call 509-784-5101 or email snowgrass@nwi.net
