...WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF THE REGION POSSIBLE LATE THIS WEEK... .A LONG PERIOD OF LIGHT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL ADD UP TO POSSIBLE MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OVER A 24 TO 36 HOUR PERIOD. NCW well represented at all-star football game

Ten North Central Washington football players will participate in the Earl Barden All-Star Classic, which will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at East Valley High School in Moxee.

The region's representatives will play for the East squad — Oroville wide receiver CJ Mathews, Quincy wideout Kody Berens, Cashmere defensive end Joey Michael, Cashmere linebacker Kyle Weiler, Chelan linebacker Cole Schwartz, Omak linebacker Dylan Green, Manson defensive lineman Casey Sorensen, Chelan offensive lineman Jerry Isenhart, Lake Roosevelt offensive lineman Brent Stromberger and Cashmere lineman Caleb Barnes.

Quincy head coach Stephen Wallace will be an assistant for the East squad, which will be led Jeff Bartlow of Waitsburg-Prescott. Nooksack Valley's Robb Myhre will coach the West team.
