CWU Bassoon Students Recital

The Central Washington University Department of Music will present its annual Bassoon Studio Recital in the Music Building Recital Hall at 7 p.m. Feb. 9.

The performers, all music majors studying under bassoon professor Dan Lipori, also participate in the university orchestra, wind ensemble, symphonic band and a variety of other ensembles.

The upcoming concert will consist of original and transcribed works for the bassoon ensemble, ranging from a Bach passacaglia to a Sousa march. There will also be solo works by Gioachino Rossini, Eric Ewazen, Bach, and a Mozart duo for bassoon and cello.

The concert is free and open to the public. Persons of disability may make arrangements for reasonable accommodation by calling 509-963-1242 or (for hearing impaired) TDD 509-963-2143.
