    Ever wanted to learn how to swing dance? This is the club for you! One hour beginning lesson at 7 p.m., then two hours of dancing to DJ'd swing music every Wednesday night at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center, 1312 Maple St. in Wenatchee. Cost is $5 per night, or buy a membership for $25 per quarter. A quarter is on average 14 weeks, so it pays to become a member. All ages welcome, no partner necessary. And no, you don't have to be a college student! So come and down and swing out!

    Lonesome as the Land: The Civil War through the diaries of boy soldiers. CD release and premier performance. Composed for 5 narrators, 9 vocalists and 10 musicians, the oratorio and recording tell the story of boy drummers in the American Civil War. Based upon actual diaries; music includes settings of Civil War era poets Walt Whitman, Herman Melville and Emily Dickinson and traditional period music.
