    It's our 14 th annual Veterans Day BBQ Hosted by the City of Wenatchee Fire Fighters Local 453 following the Veterans Day Parade at the downtown station 41. It is for veterans and their families. We have received donations from Albertsons, Apple Valley Pumping, Chelan Co. Fire Dist.1, Douglas County Fire Dist 2, Starbucks, Weinstein Beverage Co. Masonic Lodge, Kiwanis and music by Delinda House and friends. This year Washington Female Veterans Group will be collecting Toys for Tots.

Non-profits select a beer from IBC that best represents their cause as we host different events (Games, Movies, Trivia, Dessert Pairings) every Tuesday!     Ever wanted to learn how to swing dance? This is the club for you! One hour beginning lesson at 7 p.m., then two hours of dancing to DJ'd swing music every Wednesday night at the Wenatchee Valley Senior Activity Center, 1312 Maple St. in Wenatchee. Cost is $5 per night, or buy a membership for $25 per quarter. A quarter is on average 14 weeks, so it pays to become a member. All ages welcome, no partner necessary. And no, you don't have to be a college student! So come and down and swing out!

In this three-hour class with instructor Marlin Peterson, you will use watercolor and a bit of gouache to paint a large, detailed arthropod-- an insect or spider. Learn about your arthropod's anatomy and ecological niche, and how to use color and drop shadow techniques to make your subject come alive on the page!
