Reception 2 p.m. Oct. 24
Joining the Washington State Historical Society and the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture, WVMCC celebrates the centennial of women’s suffrage in Washington. Gather at Memorial Park for a brief mock rally that includes actresses portraying early 20th century suffragists and a four-piece brass band. When the rally concludes, gatherers walk to the museum for the exhibit’s opening reception. “Women’s Voices, Women’s Votes” features authentic materials from the 1909-10 suffrage campaign, related archival documents and other artifacts. The exhibit remains on display in Wenatchee through Jan. 10. 888-6240.
