Helen Burch Riverside

Helen Burch of Riverside, WA passed away peacefully Friday, April 13, 2007, after a lengthy illness. Helen was born August 16, 1931, in Sylva, NC to Frank and Hattie Parker. She worked and raised her family in the Everett area. Helen and Richard returned to the Omak area, to retire, December 29, 1989. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, bowling and many crafts. Some of her fondest memories were with her husband of 35 years, family and friends, while camping in Conconully. Helen is survived by her husband, Richard; two daughters, Sharon (Jim) Gordon and Pam (Kelly) Carlson; step-children, Melonie Liedholm, Stephen Mullen and Linda Stover; and her brother, Jerry Wolfe; along with many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many close family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughters, Kathy and Gracie; and brothers, Clifford and Grunard Cope. The family would like to thank the Harmony House and their staff, in Brewster, for the care and support they gave to Helen. The family will be having a Memorial Service April 19, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Precht-Harrison-Nearents Chapel, Okanogan, WA, with a casual gathering at the Elks of Omak, afterwards. The family asks any memorials to be sent to the Harmony House of Brewster, WA, or a charity of your choice. Precht-Harrison-Nearents is in charge of arrangements.
