James Andrew Jackson

James Andrew Jackson, 91, of Leavenworth, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2007.

He had lived in Leavenworth for more than 45 years and was a longtime civilian flight line mechanic on military bases.

Survivors include his children, Janeen F. Jackson of Mount Lake Terrace, Julee Jackson of Shoreline and Randy Jackson of Everett; and his longtime companion, Vera M. Goss of Manson.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Leavenworth Community United Methodist Church, 418 Evans St., in Leavenworth.

Arrangements are assisted by Jones and Jones Funeral Home, Wenatchee.

Robert 'Hank' Henry

Robert “Hank“ Henry, 78, of Chelan, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, at his home.

He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., and moved to Chelan after serving 27 years with the Navy.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Henry of Chelan; his children, Teri Spicer of Chelan, Jeri Messersmith of Mount Shasta, Calif., and John Henry of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and his sister, Barbara Tardino of Quaker Town, Pa.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Precht Rose Chapel in Chelan, Rev. Frank Needles officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 26 at Fraternal Cemetery in Chelan. Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel.

Judith Alla Vail

Judith Alla Vail, 65, of Wenatchee, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2007.

She had lived in the Wenatchee Valley for many years and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her children, Larry Scott of Moses Lake, Shirley Scott of Vancouver, Julie Rivera of Wenatchee, Pennie Robinson of Cashmere, Ima Jean McCarter and Ruby Larive, both of Bellingham, Charles Bunch of Anchorage, Alaska, and Theda Mitchell of East Wenatchee.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Telford's Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee.

A reception will follow the service.

Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.

Jewell Joy Bray

Jewell Joy Bray, 82, of Wenat-chee, died Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007, at her home. She had lived in Wenatchee for 18 years and was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Kesterson of Wenatchee. A private family service will be held at a later date at Peshastin Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth.

Peggy Arlene (Crial) Morehouse Wickwire

Peggy Arlene (Crial) Morehouse Wickwire, 81, of Soap Lake, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007, at Columbia Basin Hospital in Ephrata. She was born and grew up in Wenatchee, where she worked in local theaters as an usherette, photography studios as a watercolor artist, and at the Cascadian Hotel in the cigar store. She moved to Ephrata in 1952 and later to Soap Lake.

Survivors include her children, Richard Morehouse of East Wenatchee, David Morehouse of Honolulu, Hawaii, Julie Downing of Hamilton, Mont., and Keith Morehouse of Soap Lake; her stepchildren, James Wickwire of Seattle, Bob Wickwire of Eagle, Idaho, Richard Wickwire of Ellensburg, John Wickwire of Seattle, Mary Nelson of Ephrata, Mike Wickwire of Kingwood, Texas, and Dan Wickwire of Vancouver; and her sisters, Doris Gormley of Spokane and Betty Rogers of Leavenworth. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Rose of Lima Church in Ephrata. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial following at Ephrata Cemetery. Arrangements are by Nicoles Funeral Home, Ephrata.
