Are you itching to share a favorite recipe? Do you have a potluck standout? Do co-workers rave about your chocolate chip cookies?
We’re in search of local cooks, bakers and foodies to share their favorite recipes, original or not, and the stories behind them in the pages of The Wenatchee World in a new feature called Your Recipe Box.
Submitting recipes for Your Recipe Box is easy. A basic recipe should include your name, where you live, name of recipe, ingredient list, preparation instructions, recipe yield, type of recipe, why you chose the recipe and where it came from. Also, include your phone number so we can get in touch if we have questions.
Recipe forms can be submitted online at recipes.wenatcheeworld.com or you can pick one up at our offices: 14 N. Mission St., Wenatchee. They will be mailed upon request. We do not accept recipe submissions over the phone.
Please give exact amounts (no smidgens of this and squeezes of that) and make sure to double-check ingredients, measurements and times. Recipes are not tested.
Submissions will be accepted by those within The World’s circulation area: Chelan, Douglas and Okanogan counties and the western part of Grant County, including Quincy, Ephrata, Soap Lake and George. Submitting a recipe does not guarantee it will be printed. If we use your recipe, we will request a current photo of you.
