Pauline (Isaminger) Thomson, 82, passed away on May 31, 2008, at the Highgate Cottages in Wenatchee, WA. She was born in Seattle, WA on January 6, 1926, to Ingwald and Christine Ronne, immigrants of Norway. She married Philip Isaminger in 1945, following World War II and resided for a short time in Seattle, WA. As an employee of Gwin, White and Prince, Philip and Pauline moved to the Wenatchee Valley, working in the apple industry. As a skilled homemaker, Pauline was devoted to her family and friends. She loved to cook and entertained frequently with grace to all who came to her home. A resident of Wenatchee for over 50 years, Pauline was active in community work and a real "giver" to many. She was an active member of the Saint Joseph Catholic Church guild. She enjoyed an active membership in the women's Rotary Annes and experienced many travels to different countries for annual Rotary conventions. Pauline was an Apple Blossom Royalty Chaperone for two years, during the early 1970's. She truly enjoyed being a member of the Garter Girls estate sales group, as she was so organized and had a love of antiques and decorating. Pauline married Jack Thomson five years after Phil passed away. In their 24 years together, Jack and Pauline celebrated life, traveling extensively and visiting family. Pauline is survived by her daughters, Pamela Isaminger of Wenatchee and Penni (David) Dyment of Vancouver, WA. She was blessed with three grandsons, Matthew, John and Paul Philip Dyment; and one great-grandchild, Ava Ann. She also was loved by her sister, Patricia; niece, Diane Szender; and nephews, Greg and Keith Hansen. Pauline will be loved and remembered by all who knew her. A Private Graveside Memorial for family and close friends will be held at Wenatchee Cemetery. A Memorial Mass was held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 625 S. Elliott Avenue, Wenatchee, on Saturday, June 7, 2008. A Private Inurnment will be held at the Wenatchee Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Research or a charity of choice. Arrangements are assisted by Telford's Chapel of the Valley.
