John Felix, 59, of Leavenworth, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009.He had lived in Leavenworth for 23 years and was a disabled war veteran.Survivors include his wife, Bernadette Felix of Leavenworth; his children, John Felix and Josh Felix, both of Leavenworth; his brothers, Richard Felix and Carlos Felix; and his sisters, Patricia Garcia, Sharon Evans, Dolores McIntyre, Regina Stapley, Melanie Martinez, Beverly Aranda and Evelyn Garcia.A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ward’s Funeral Chapel of Leavenworth. Arrangements are by Ward’s Funeral Chapel.
