John Mangan, 94, of Wenatchee, died Thursday, April 16, 2009.He had lived in Wenatchee since 1970 and worked for the Douglas County Juvenile Department for 12 years, retiring in 1982.Survivors include his wife, Brigid Mangan of Wenatchee; his children, Kevin Mangan of San Diego, Shawn Mangan of Tucson, Ariz., Brendan Mangan and Maureen T. Mangan, both of Seattle, and Sheila A. Douglas of Moscow, Idaho; and his sisters, Bridie Kiely of County Limerick, Ireland, and Sister Rosaline Mangan of Birmingham, England.A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wenatchee. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, with concluding services and interment following at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Telford’s Chapel of the Valley in East Wenatchee, and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.Arrangements are by Telford’s Chapel of the Valley.
