The Leavenworth handbell chorus keeps on ringing with its annual holiday tour swing through NCW. The group has performed for more than 30 years, since their endowment from Leavenworth candymaker Archie Marlin. Future shows include Dec. 12-13 concerts in the Canyon Wren Recital Hall at Icicle Creek Music Center.

Renowned Sultan harpist Bronn Journey and his vocalist wife, Katherine, unite in a series of seasonal songs on their annual Christmas pilgrimage to Leavenworth. The duo has released a slew of CDs in their 13-year partnership.

Formed in 1982, Leavenworth’s vocal chorus regularly performs holiday concerts in the valley. Soloists include Karen Haas, Mariann Henderson Browne and Floy Detwiler. Guest musicians joining the show are pianist Steve Morton, flutist Maggie Whiteman, vocalist Bettina Keziah and quartet Christmas Brass. The Kinderchor accompanies the Dec. 4-5 shows, and the Henderson Family chimes in on Dec. 10-11. Performances feature fresh arrangements of familiar classics.
