Caulma Marie Gifford Morgan

Wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, Caulma Marie Gifford Morgan passed away on Friday December 11, 2009, in Selah, WA, at the home of her daughter, Royce Sears. Daughters, Royce and Rose, were with her in her passing. She was born in Bandmill, AR on December 28, 1920, to Homer and Clarmont Gifford. She married Sewell Morgan on December 20, 1937. She and Sewell came to Wenatchee, beginning in the early 1940's. She purchased Baldwin chicken ranch in the 1960's, where she had previously worked and continued in the business for ten more years. She loved her family and loved cooking, gardening, fishing and camping and had the greatest roses in her area.

She is survived by daughters, Koyce Miller of California, Royce Sears of Selah, Rose Roche' of East Wenatchee and Linda Navarre of Camano Island; and son, J.R. of Wenatchee. She has two brothers, Wayne Gifford and E.C. Martin, both of East Wenatchee and Boyd Gifford of Tennessee. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sewell Morgan in 1982; her companion of 15 years, Glen Cutshall; her son, Bob Morgan; grandson, Tyler Howerton; granddaughter, Rachel Ann Morgan; and sister, Waniece Sears.

Grandson Scott Miller will be officiating the Graveside Service at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. The Celebration of Caulma Marie Morgan's Life will be at First Baptist Church, in East Wenatchee, on Saturday, December 19, 2009, at 11:00 a.m.
