THEATRICAL WORKSHOP: Actors and technicians from the Seattle Repertory Theatre visited Wenatchee in 1977 to present a play and hold workshops. Peter Bixby and Suzanne Sorom of Music Theatre of Wenatchee, demonstrate mime and improvisation techniques. Matt Love is in the background.

• Mr. and Mrs. George H. Ellis took the boat to Chelan where they will stay for several days.
• Loren Sheffer and Harold Hull hosted a dinner for Clyde Marsh and Irving Smith.
50 years ago — 1959
• Leonard Breckenridge took the gavel today as president of the North Central Council of Social Agencies. Charles Bader is vice president and Meta Helmer is secretary.
• R.W. “Rollie” Day will be director general of the 41st Washington State Apple Blossom Festival. Donald M. Kirby will be assistant director.
25 years ago — 1984
• Kelawani Club of Wenatchee, a Pacific Northwest District Kiwanis women’s service organization, installed officers during a banquet last week. They are Marcia Rodstol, president; Kim Stallings, vice president; Christi Lewis, secretary; and Sue Frese, treasurer.
