Cristy Gill and Thomas Holcomb exchanged wedding vows July 31 at Evergreen Gardens in Ferndale.

Ben Truscott of Everett officiated the ceremony.

She is the daughter of Dean and Marcie Gill of East Wenatchee. His parents are John and Linda Holcomb of Oak Harbor.

A reception followed at the gardens.

The newlyweds honeymooned in France and Italy. They have settled in Bellingham.

She graduated from Eastmont High School in 1999 and from Western Washington University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in English. She earned a secondary teaching certificate from Western in 2005. She is an English teacher at Lynden High School.

He graduated from Oak Harbor High School in 1998 and attended Western Washington University. He is an operator at Shell Oil Refinery in Anacortes.
