FFA chapter earns award

CHELAN — The Chelan FFA received a 3-Star National Chapter Award at the 82nd National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., held Oct. 21-23. The rating is the highest a chapter can earn.
Former Chelan FFA member Breanne Hanson received an American FFA Degree at the convention.
Hanson, a 2007 Chelan High School graduate, is the daughter of Rick and Robin Hanson of Chelan.
The award is given to FFA members who have demonstrated leadership abilities and outstanding achievements in agricultural business, production, processing and service programs, organizers say.
