800 block Walker Street: Stereo, subwoofers and an amplifier taken, reported Nov. 9.

Malicious mischief

300 block South Chelan Avenue: Resident reported to police that he saw someone looking in building windows and saw that the side window of a car had been broken out. Police arrested a 32-year-old Wenatchee man on suspicion of malicious mischief and possession of drug paraphernalia about a block away, reported Nov. 9.

Sex offender alert

3800 block Malaga Avenue, Malaga: William Harris, 27, a registered sex offender, has moved into the area, Chelan County sheriff’s deputies said. He is a Level 3 offender, considered a high risk to reoffend. He was convicted of first-degree child molestation in Chelan County in 2000; the victim was an 11-year-old girl. Superior Court

Larry A. Higgins, 45, Wenatchee: Pleaded guilty Nov. 9 to unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with two days suspended and credit for 88 days served, 24 months of bench supervision and $1,150 in fines and fees.
