WENATCHEE VALLEY — Anyone passing by the Pipeline Pedestrian Bridge might notice part of the structure is covered. Underneath, the historic bridge is getting a makeover.
According to project Superintendent Barry Solada, the tarp covers 100 feet of the bridge and hangs down 60 feet. It will stay in place for seven to 10 days to contain any debris and overspray while the crew paints the current section of bridge. After that, crews — and the tarp — will move east on the bridge.
Work is expected to continue until late fall.
